iModel Connector

iModel can be published to iModelHub in U5.2. Following workflows are currently supported.

iModel can be published with iTwin Synchronizer which currently uses MicroStation Connector. All the graphics is being published but the ProStructures element properties are not being exported in this workflow. However, attached item types do export.
Publishing iModel to iModelHub with ProStructures Element properties is possible. ProStructures U5.2 comes with bundled ProStructures Connector. Using key-in driven set of parameters, iModel is published to iModelHub. For detailed steps, please click here.
Publishing iModels in a batch using Bentley Automation Service.
Note: The capability of publishing iModel to iModelHub will provide capability of seeing the properties of ProStructures elements into Bentley Products like MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, OpenPLANT Modeler.
Attach iModel as a reference is now possible in U5.2. iModels can be referenced directly from iModelHub.
iModel Services like Issue Resolution service , clash detection will be available.

iTwinSynchronizer

iTwinSynchronizer enables you to sync design changes from desktop design application with an iTwin in the cloud. Connectors transform engineering data from native design application into a schema. Design changes are recorded in a timeline of change providing an audit trail of who changed what when. Team members and project stakeholders can view, validate, and analyze the data stored in the iTwin from any location with a standard web browser.

Proxy iTwin Synchronizer workflow is possible in U5.2. The prerequisites are as follows:

ProStructures U5.2 build should be install on machine.
User Environment variable should be set as described below.

InstantON Service - InstantON is a iTwin Service where ProjectWise datasource Connection is created using URL. iModels can be published to iModelHub without Product OR ProjectWise client.

IFC Export

Along with PS_Properties, following properties are now exported to IFC.

Assignments like classifications Area Class, Display class, Part Families etc.
Process Status and Total Count.

Extended Element Data (EED)

Extended Element Data (EED) for Single part and Groups.

Item Type

Item Type Properties.

Item Types attached to Single Rebar and RebarSets.

Item Types attached to ProConcrete Shapes and Concrete Solid Reference to IFC.

Batch Export

ProStructures is now able to perform batch export individual 3D Groups / Sub Groups / Assemblies to separate IFC file with metadata.
